透甲錐箭 Armour-piercing awl arrowhead
Hand forged arrowhead based on historical designs from the Ming dynasty, designed for penetrating armor. Made from 1045 medium carbon steel and heat treated as was common in historical Ming arrowheads.
Back in 2016 I wrote a Python program to do my calculus homework and now one CS degree later I still can't do calculus but I get to write more fun code.
When I'm not fighting the compiler you can find me wrenching on my car, practicing Chinese archery, fencing, or 3D modeling and printing my latest flying (or probably exploding) contraption. You can check out what else I've been up to below.
If you think I can help you build something, send me a message here.
If you want to check out the cool stuff I build, have a look below — check back often, I update this as I make new things.

A small program I wrote as an example of retrieval augmented generation; a technique to improve LLM queries with access to large libraries of data. The goal of this research is to improve LLM output to reduce hallucination, overly general responses and to require less context in the user query.

Currently developing a fixed wing FPV drone for long range FPV flights, I am using Solidworks to design the airframe and the internal components and 3D printing the parts using a Bambu lab X1C with CFRP filament

Prototype of a contra rotating gearbox for another fixed wing drone, designed in Solidworks. The gearbox is reminiscent of a car's differential. The gears parameters are as follows: 20 teeth, ~20mm pitch diameter, 1mm module and 20 degree pressure angle. There are two concentric output shafts.

I designed and had this bike frame built by a specialty titanium frame builder in China, I designed it using a combination of online frame geometry tools and Autodesk inventor

Printed my own intake duct for my 86/BRZ using a Bambu lab X1C with PA12-CF
Designed and printed an archery thumb ring based on historical translations from the book 'The Way of Archery' translated by Jie Tian and Justin Ma
